Hester i Thrale
16 January 1741 - May 2 1821. Born Hester Lynch Salusbury but best known as Hester Thrale (although after her second marriage Hester Lynch Piozzi), a British diarist and author. Her diaries and letters are an important source of information about Samuel Johnson. She was also friends, until her second marriage, with Fanny Burney.
