Fitz-Greene Halleck
Fitzgreene Halleck (July 8, 1790 November 19, 1867) was and American poet, born at Guilford, Connecticut. He wrote, with Joseph Rodman Drake, a young poet who died at 25, The Croaker Papers, a series of satirical and humorous verses, and Fanny, also a satire.
