Margaret Gatty

Margaret Gatty (ne Scott) (1809 1873), was an English writer children's literature. She was the daughter of the Rev. A.J. Scott, D.D., a Royal Navy chaplain, who served under, and was the trusted friend of, Lord Nelson.
