Wednesday evening at the San Diego Padres, up in the nosebleeds. (Hey the tickets were free!) Directly opposite where we were sitting were these folks sitting in a very empty section of the stadium.
Taken on May 22nd in the evening. A VERY overcast and grey day. The Padres were playing at home hence the very annoying bright stadium lights. Lens was a Tamron 17-50mm, Canon Eos Digital Rebel XT. Blend of 3 photos to create a subtle HDR image.

I had a great time watching these boys play ball.
Smiles all around and a good time was had by all.
Even the sprinklers coming on and drenching the outfield couldn't dampen their spirits...they just shrugged and played on.
(I've always had a thing for catchers.)
Candlestick Park, San Francisco 1965
Candlestick Park in 1965, Home of the San Francisco Giants until 1999. Hall of famer Willie McCovey making the play at first base in a Sunday day game vs the Mets at the 'Stick. I shot this photo when I was fifteen and still have the negative. Leica IIIc with Kodak film.
