The Right Honourable Bruce Joseph Grocott, Baron Grocott, PC (born 1 November 1940) is a Labour Party politician in the United Kingdom. He was first elected as Member of Parliament for Lichfield in Tamworth in 1974, but lost his seat at the 1979 election. He was re-elected for Telford in 1987, but stepped down at the 2001 election. He served as PPS to Tony Blair. He was created a life peer on 2 July 2001, and is the present Captain of the Gentlemen-at-Arms, the post usually held by the Chief Whip in the House of Lords.
