A little bit about Baba, Meher
Meher Baba (February 25, 1894 January 31, 1969) was an Indian spiritual master who claimed to be the Avatar (an incarnation of God). Although he maintained silence for most of his life, his teachings spread worldwide, notably through Baba's extensive travels, and through the popularity of music written by one his followers, Pete Townshend. His 1925 quote "Don't Worry, Be Happy", which became well known after appearing in a song by Bobby McFerrin, reflects Meher Baba's teaching that all human experience reflects God's divine plan, and that in the end all will become united with God. His Samadhi (tomb-shrine) in Meherabad (outside Ahmednagar, India) has become a place of pilgrimage. · Can we improve this biography? Post your version
