A little bit about Williams, Montel

Montel Brian Anthony Williams (born July 3, 1956) is a famous television talk-show host. After graduating high school in 1974, Williams enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in his hometown of Baltimore, Maryland, where his father served as Fire chief, and soon thereafter reported for duty at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island. After six months, he was meritoriously promoted twice, and in 1975, became the first black Marine selected to the Naval Academy Preparatory School. Upon graduating from the Academy's Prep School one year later, Williams received a presidential appointment to the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. While at Annapolis, Mr. Williams studied Mandarin Chinese and graduated in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science in General Engineering and a minor in International Security Affairs. · Can we improve this biography?
