A bit about Bernard M. Baruch ...

Bernard Mannes Baruch (August 18, 1870 – June 20, 1965) was a Jewish-American financier, stock market speculator, statesman, and presidential advisor. After his success in business, he devoted his time toward advising Democratic presidents Woodrow Wilson and Franklin D. Roosevelt on economic matters. He is well known for having coined the term "Cold War" in 1947 to describe relations between the United States and the Soviet Union from the mid-1940s to the early 1990s.
