John Ousterhout was a professor of Computer Science at UC Berkeley. While there, he invented the scripting programming language Tcl and the platform-independent GUI toolkit Tk. Ousterhout is also the original author of the VLSI CAD program Magic. Ousterhout designed the 4.4 BSD Log File System (LFS) but left the work unfinished. · Can we improve this biography?
