A little bit about Mackenzie, Kelvin

Kelvin Calder MacKenzie (born October 22, 1946) is a media figure in the United Kingdom. He is best known for his role as editor of The Sun newspaper from 1981 to 1993 and is remembered as the man responsible for the paper's coverage of the Hillsborough disaster. The paper made untrue allegations about the Liverpool fans, including that they were pick-pocketing the victims and urinating on the policemen. As a consequence, the paper still sells very poorly in Liverpool. · Can we improve this biography? Write us your version.
