If God had been a liberal, we wouldn't have had the Ten Commandments -- we'd have the Ten Suggestions.

Liberals have a tendancy to see things as "gray" and not absolute. This allows for people to justify their actions. God sees things as right and wrong, not arbitrary, based upon our whims. This isn't situational ethics where what I decide is right and wrong depending upon the circumstances I am in at the moment. When we decide what is right and wrong we get ourselves in trouble becasue we probably don't foresee the results of our decisions and actions. God has given us rules to protect us from ourselves, our limited thinking and our lack of wisdom.
