Happiness is activity. Aristotle

Is it happiness or contentment that is sustained through activity? Suggest that happiness is a fleeting emotion that can not be harnessed for the duration of an activity.

contentment, to me, is the ability to do absolutely nothing and be happy, so activity isn't necessarily in the doing, but the enjoyment. I am sure Aristotle has his point, we aall just refine it in our search for the ever elusive "happy".
