This is a great quote and so contrary to the typical American. Many people think they are entitled to the blessing without having to struggle for it. We have way too many people who are content to let someone else take care of them and will readily vote for anyone who will promise to take care of them. We are more and more becoming a society of slackers. With that provision by someone else they give up their freedoms, for a "bowl of pottage".
