Can anyone explain what this quote means?

Hi! This quote is attributed to Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, a German philosopher. It could mean that he is saying that the object of his love is worth far more than the highest honour or reverence that a mere mortal could ever give.

Thanks for this note - can you post a link to a book, etc. showing it is attributed to that author?
