Mirabai (1498-1547) (sometimes also spelled Meera) was a female Hindu mystical poet during the Mughal period of Indian history. Disciple of Guru Ravidas, she composed many prayerful songs called (Bhajans). They are in the bhakti tradition, and most passionately praised Lord Krishna. · Can we improve this biography?
