White, Paul Dudley Quotes
Paul Dudley White, M.D. (June 6, 1886 October 31, 1973) was a pioneering cardiologist, and a founding member of the American Heart Association. He was born in Roxbury, Massachusetts and attended the Roxbury Latin School, from which he graduated in 1903. He graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1911. The United States Postal Service honoured him with a 3-cent postage stamp in 1986, which it is still offering today. Dr. White emphasized fitness and exercise as one of the best ways to prevent cardiac disease, and was an avid cyclist.
